Camp Liberty is pleased to offer an archery event from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on August 26 and 27. The program will include access to our 75-yard outdoor range, our aerial archery target thrower, and eight stations with 3D game targets in realistic hunting situations.
The program will be held at Camp Liberty, 7044 Kappler Road, Brooklyn, MI. You may use your own equipment or Camp Liberty can provide equipment including bows and crossbows. We have equipment suitable for kids and adults. Only field tip arrows may be used.
Camp Liberty’s archery range and 3D targets are designed to be accessible to those with mobility challenges. You may utilize one of our Action Trackchairs or one of our volunteers can assist you with a golf cart.
The event is free to active-duty military, veterans, police, fire, EMS, and kids under 16. A free-will donation is requested from others. $10.00 per person is suggested. All funds received will be used for accessible outdoor recreation programs to benefit our U.S. military veterans and active-duty service members.
