“I appreciate the opportunity to hunt this great property and nice accommodations. The Vietnam Veterans involved were relatable. The food was excellent. The camaraderie of Veterans was a major part of the event, laughing with brothers. Story time about hunting and military meant so much. Camp Liberty provided a great experience for us. The teamwork of successfully tracking three downed deer after dark was just great teamwork. Given the opportunity we would love to return for another hunt.”

Everyone was extremely helpful from sharing stories of times that have past, to sharing weapons and hunting tactics to ensure everyone felt included. The sense of community here was amazing. We even had one hunter from out of state. These are the moments worth fighting for because you will never know when the next time you feel accepted will happen again.
