Camp Liberty was honored to give back to our community this Holiday Season by providing holiday gift cards to four families in need. The gift cards were given to 3 First Responders who were killed while on duty, 2 of whom were Veterans. Each recipient left behind a spouse and children.
The other recipient, a female Veteran and single mother, was referred by Camp Liberty to the Stuff a Stocking Program and the Ladies of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. At a meeting at Callaghan’s Coffee Company, both organizations presented donated gifts to Jessica M. and her son. Jessica M. was interviewed by Fox 47 about the help Camp Liberty provided her as she found herself homeless earlier this year. In addition, Fox 47 news ran the special story and the presentation of gifts to her son from Santa and some of the Camp Liberty Board Members.
