Our final hunt (a pheasant hunt) of 2025 was held on December 6th, with 18 hunters harvesting 39 pheasants. Snow and temperatures in the low 30s created a unique and enjoyable atmosphere.
Thank you to the Eaton’s Veterans Organization for sponsoring the hunt, to our guides Jerry M, Keith Z, Ian, and Allan L, and to the volunteers Peggy, Harry, Ramona, and Alan G.
Testimony from Rob C., one of our hunters: “Hunt was awesome. So glad I was able to partake. This morning, I got to assist a hunter in a track chair so he could hunt. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. He was so happy. Brought a tear to my eye. Being ale to break bread with a Vietnam Veteran is something very special to me and something I just don’t get to do. Over 40 years of age between us but it as as if were just a couple of young soldiers out in the field having a good time”
