Over 40 Volunteers and Veterans came out for Camp Liberty’s Spring Conservation Day on May 17th, 2025. Work on the pond included installing an electrical line and a water line from the river to the pond. This allows us to install an aeration system in the pond to support stocking the pond with fish. First Nation Bank volunteers came out and installed the second accessible dock. Other projects included painting and repairing Blinds, weeding around the lodge and transplanting flowers, cutting up firewood, planting pumpkins, a sunflower patch, and a wildflower patch.
The group enjoyed a wonderful lunch with hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, and potato salad donated from Manchester Market, which was oh so good!
Thank you to all the Volunteers and Veterans for your continued support.
