Outdoors: War veteran finds peace in hunting

This year a law went into effect giving disabled veterans free hunting licenses. It’s small consolation considering Michigan ranks behind all states and territories in per capita veteran spending including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Guam. Nonetheless, it’s possibly a more meaningful gesture than many civilians realize. Time outdoors is therapeutic.
