DESCRIPTION:Download flyer: Camp Liberty Veterans Pheasant Hunt \nSaturday\, March 25\, 2023 \nOur Free Pheasant Hunt is available to Active-Duty Military personnel and Veterans.\nAll levels of physical ability are invited. Adaptive equipment is available. \nSelection will be by a lottery process. \nTO APPLY\, email the following information to camplibertyinc@gmail.com.\n1. Your Full Name and address.\n2. Phone Number.\n3. Email Address.\n4. Branch of Service.\n5. Years Served.\n6. The sessions you are available for (morning\, afternoon\, both).\n7. Are you interested in using any adaptive equipment such as a Trakchair?\n8. What equipment do you need to borrow to enjoy the hunt?\n9. Have you ever hunted at Camp Liberty before?\n10. Have you ever taken any game at Camp Liberty before? If so\, what and when.\nApplications must be received before March 20. Those selected will be notified by\nemail on the 20th. Alternates will also be selected in case someone cannot attend.\nApplications via Facebook or Direct Messenger will not be accepted.\nPlease email camplibertyinc@gmail.com if you have any questions. \nPheasant Hunt Details\nThere will be morning and afternoon session guided hunts. \nCamp Liberty will provide: \n• Coffee and donuts for the morning hunters.\n• Three ringneck pheasants planted per hunter.\n• Experienced guides and bird dogs.\n• Safety orientation meeting.\n• Lessons on bird cleaning.\n• Lunch for all hunters and volunteers.\n• A warm fire and time to relax. \nA few shotguns\, game vests\, and other equipment are available to lend to participants. Please let us know what you need. We will also allow a child or grandchild to hunt in place of the Veteran if accompanied in the field by the Veteran. \nMorning Schedule\n8:30 a.m. Sign In\, Coffee and Donuts\n9:00 a.m. Safety Briefing\n9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Pheasant Hunting\nNoon to 1:00 p.m. Lunch and Bird Cleaning\n1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Relax by the fire in the Lodge. \nAfternoon Schedule\n11:30 a.m. Sign In and Coffee\nNoon to 1:00 p.m. Lunch in the Lodge\n1:00 p.m. Safety Briefing\n1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Pheasant Hunting\n3:30 to 5:00 p.m. – Bird Cleaning and relaxing by the fire in the Lodge. \nPlease email camplibertyinc@gmail.com if you have any questions.
