SUMMARY:Volunteer Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are needed during the week of August 21 through 27 to help with Camp Liberty’s conservation efforts\, prepare for our fall programs\, and manage our archery event on August 26 and 27. \nThe times\, days\, and number of hours you volunteer are flexible\, and we have tasks for all ages\, skill sets\, and abilities. \nSpecific goals include: \n\nWelcoming guests to our archery event\nArchery Range Staffing\nCleaning\, painting & repairing our wildlife blinds\nPlanting trees and food plots\nClearing trails\nCleaning up around the storage barn\nCutting and splitting firewood\n\nDuring this week\, we will also be holding organizational meetings for volunteers that would like to serve on Camp Liberty’s hunting and fishing committees.    If you enjoy hunting or fishing and are interested in assisting our veterans and active-duty service members\, this is an excellent way to get involved.  The Hunting and Fishing Committees develop and supervise programs for Camp Liberty that are provided free to veterans and military personnel. \nCamp Liberty is an IRS-approved 501(c)3 charity that is focused on using accessible outdoor recreation to thank our active-duty service members\, veterans\, and those with health challenges. \nIf you are interested in volunteering\, serving on one of these committees\, or learning more about Camp Liberty\, please contact Allan Lutes at camplibertyinc@gmail.com or 734-216-3466.
