Camp Liberty invites you to join us for our Volunteer Welcome and Information Meeting, which will be held at the Camp on February 25th beginning at 9 a.m.
If you would like to consider getting involved in Camp Liberty, whether to help with one event or on a regular basis, this meeting is a great opportunity to learn about the organization, meet other volunteers and see where you can help our Veterans.
We will start at 9:00 a.m. by enjoying some coffee, donuts, and fellowship. We will update you on Camp Liberty’s progress and the events planned for 2023. We will provide information on several different volunteer opportunities that may interest you. We hope to identify “right people, right seat” so that our volunteers can have an enjoyable experience helping our Veterans. We will wrap up by providing lunch and time around the fireplace to network and create new friendships.
Opportunities to Volunteer Include:
- Connecting Veterans with Resources
- Hunting Programs
- Fishing Programs
- Conservation Activities
- Accessible Outdoor Recreation Programs
- Hospitality Support for Events
- Fundraising
- Equipment Maintenance
- Tractor Driving and Trail Mowing
- Boy Scout Merit Badge Camp Out
- Beekeeping
- Other areas based on your interests.
This will not be a work session. We only ask that you come by to learn more about Camp Liberty and volunteer opportunities. We very much appreciate everyone’s time and willingness to assist us in providing services to veterans through Camp Liberty.
For any questions, please email us at camplibertyinc@gmail.com. We will respond as soon as possible.
